Goal/Purpose
To educate physicians in early recognition of proper treatment to reduce risks in infectious disease.

Learning Objectives:
At the conclusion of this activity, participants will be able to:

  • Recognize the representative signs and symptoms of severe infectious diseases
  • Investigate the diagnoses and presentations that often lead to liability claims
  • Integrate practical changes such as documentation, recognition of critical signs and symptoms, and successful hand off of patients to reduce liability claims
